Engagement sessions are definitely one of my favorite things to shoot! One of the first things Tyler says to me is “I”m not the most photogenic person Jodi.” Or something along those lines anyway. So many people warn me when we start the shoot that they either aren’t good in front of the camera or that people can never get good shots of them, or that they don’t have one single photo where there eyes are open! The thing to remember is we aren’t sitting inside at a studio with a black backdrop telling you to say cheese….and we’re trying to make things as fun as possible! The more natural and relaxed you are the better the photos will be! I try to find locations that make people feel relaxed and chill and normally outdoors or in their home is good for that. Tyler you did awesome and Andrea it definitely helped having a gorgeous blonde haired chick for him to look at the whole time! I”m stoked to shoot your wedding next summer!

Everytime I look at this photo, it makes me laugh!
Here I said something like “okay Tyler put the moves on.” And then he turned to me with this look and was like “umm, what did you just say!” LOL. Love it!
