Sullivan Family

There are some people that come into your life that no matter how much time passes, that you don’t see or hear from each other, you know as soon as you do…it will be like old times. Thats Norms. Her family lives in Korea now and so it’s very rare that we get to chat or get together. Last week, however, she called to let me know they were here visiting and wondered if we could do a last minute photo session of their family. I was so pumped. Not only because I would get to see her again but for the very simple fact that they are all so super adorable that I have so much fun taking their family photos. (wink wink) They have so much fun together as a family…..doing their little Sullivan family cheer, making crazy faces and just a ton of laughter. Its refreshing to be around. Norma was one of my teacher’s in high school that got me into photography. She would lend me her camera so I could experiment and start to explore the world of photography. We would go on little day adventures shooting at different locations, modelling for each other and just being plain crazy. Generally the time ended with some form of delicious ice cream. Ben and Jerry’s was a big hit. I am so thankful that I had a teacher who took an interest in me and spent time out of her own schedule to mentor me and help me grow. Such a valuable life experience that I will never forget.

Norms you are an amazing woman, wife and mom! I love watching you and your beautiful girl together.

Our visit was short but you always seem to have a way of inspiring and encouraging me no matter how much time we have. Thank you! Much love.
