Two weeks ago Nathan called me and said he had a very small window of opportunity he just had to use! April and him were flying in from Vancouver for a friends wedding. He was scheduled to fly home Sunday night and she was flying home on Wednesday. Plans back home changed for him so he was able to stay longer..but he didn’t tell April. Thats where the fun begins!
April dropped him off at the airport on Sunday. His friend picked him up just a bit later.
Nathan was racking his brain trying to think of the perfect place to propose to April. After a gazillion ideas he decided the most meaningful place to her would be on her grandma’s front porch with one of her favorite Jeanie Cakes.
Timing it perfectly was a little work but he pulled it off without a hitch and the best part of all was April had no idea! (She is a smart cookie so would very easily figure out clues or hints towards the proposal!) I love that Grandma could be there to take it all in. Her and April are really close. She had a little speech for them about marriage and love… she is so adorable.
The photos tell the rest of the story…I was so honored to be apart of this proposal. Thanks for including me Nathan! I had a blast. I am so super excited for you two. Can’t wait to shoot your engagement session!
