Kristi and Steve live in Kenora and called me about a month ago to see if I could come out and shoot their wedding. So I hadn’t met them before, we just booked everything over the phone. I felt like I was part of something really unique last Saturday, so I’m so glad she called me. First off this day was all about family for them. I knocked on the door and I was greeting by the most charming people. These two cuties (Kristi’s neice and nephew) kept me company until I went over to see the bride.
Then I got to go over to the brides place and see this absolutely gorgeous girl, waiting to meet her groom.
The day continued with an outdoor ceremony on probably one of the coldest days in December. But this is what they wanted…so they went for it. Love it when people do that.
Dad was giving his approval here!
and here is the happy couple!
The bubbles froze once in the air because we could see them float right across the lake!
Look at the bare hands and it’s like -33 degrees out. Yikes you two are tough!
She was smart to wear her nice warm booties!!
Before it got too terribly dark we snuck out for a night shot. How romantic.
Look at those baby blues!
Then to top off my wonderful day with this couple they gave me this before I started to drive home. A huge basket full of yummy chocolates, starbucks tea and teapot, wine and praline wafers. So delicious. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome and part of the family. Treasure your family and all your close relationships. You are one very lucky couple.
