Before I even met this couple I was excited to work with them. Their story is full of excitement, passion, good news and sad.
Their dating days were full of flights back and forth from Detroit to Winnipeg. As they got to know each other more and more, their love for one another grew, and Jim popped the question. Soon afterward all the excitement, Michelle got sick and was diagnosed with cancer. She had called me a couple of months later to apologize for not being in contact. I instantly felt close to this beautiful girl when she told me her story. Here is a love that knows trials and knows hardship yet keeps pressing on and holding tight to the love they know. Today I got to celebrate with them in their marriage and for me it was one of the most beautiful things to witness. Thank you for being an example of true love and fighting for each
other even when it’s not easy. I am believing with the two of you that you will triumph and conquer whatever comes your way. But I also am confident that you will not just get through it but that you will have joy and peace in the midst of it.
