This weekend I had the priviledge of second shooting with my friend Krista from edison photography. She has become such a great friend! Her cousin Christina was getting married and I went to highschool with Christina and Jeff. It was such a fun wedding to be a part of cause it was sort of like a mini highschool reunion.
Christina and Jeff met in Kindergarden and spent all of their school years together. Just last year they took their relationship to the next level! I love that they have so much history together. So many years of memories and experiences that they have in common! They definitely didn’t have to date to get to know each other.
Jeff and I hung out a lot in highschool…but most of the time we spent together he was making fun of me or secretly jacking my car up and taking the tires all off. What a guy.
Four years ago Christina and I canoed together on a 7 day canoe trip. During our many hours of paddling I got to know Christina way better. She is such a sweet, genuine girl. We were trying to scheme up ways to get her to paddle with Jeff . As we paddled our little arms away the boys were miles ahead swimming off the canoes. That just didn’t seem right. The next day…she was in Jeff’s canoe. Man, we are good.
I love all the ideas you incorporated into your day. The smores and the fires outside, the trees, candles and pie for dessert. It was just perfectly you.
I am so happy for you two and am very glad that I could spend your day with you. I love you both and am convinced that you are absolutely perfect together. Well worth the wait hey?
Poor Jeff was going a little crazy waiting to see his bride for the first time….so we headed over to his skidder for some photos!
Christina couldn’t find pink shoes to match…so in the morning she decided to paint hers. so resourceful.
I just love this! I almost feel bad that I was there….such an intimate moment.
to the happy couple….love you both!
IvaleneGStyCu Kewl you should come up with that. Excellent!
