Heading to Haiti

I am so excited that I will be heading to Haiti to work at God’s Littlest Angels Orphanage for a week. I booked my flight last night! I’ll be heading there with my girlfriend and fellow photographer Krista as well as her sister and my mom! I’ve always wanted to do a trip like this with my mom, so I am so super duper stoked.

The majority of the children brought to this orphanage are between the ages of newborn and 7 years old. The orphanage is a fully functioning nursery with incubators, warming beds, and the capability to provide oxygen, intravenous fluids, and monitoring support for critically ill infants.  They also provide full time child care for all of the children.

Just because you may not be able to take time and go to some place like this… you can still be involved and help in practical ways! If you are interested in donating items… you can find a list of what is needed at the orphange HERE. Please contact me first to make sure I still have room in my suitcases! They also mentioned they could use plastic Easter eggs, icing for cakes and Easter egg dye.
