I call this wedding ‘vintage romance’. So classy and elegant. Everything about Laura was vintage glam. I loved it. The hair, her make up. So unique and so her. They had their reception at the beautiful Hotel Fort Garry so it suited their look and who they are perfectly. Laura’s sister Lois always had a name for someone’s look. I love that about her. And yesterday she called the day vintage romantic. Love it. Whenever I see Lois, she puts a name to my outfits… lol. Usually she says “it’s so bohemian.” Anyway she knows her stuff so she named yesterday perfectly. One of my favorite moments of the day was in the morning when Laura and Christoph stole a moment, before the day started, with just the two of them. I always encourage brides and grooms to have this little moment together if they are seeing each other before the ceremony. It’s a chance for them to take a minute before the day gets away on them, to tell each other how in love they are and how excited they are to be married to each other. Here is a shot of their first few moments together.
Doesn’t she just look right at home in this setting….you are stunning Laura!
This is another one of my favorite moments during the day. After they have signed the papers to make things official, they have a moment while their attendants sign to look at each other and show how pumped they are to be married.
