Baby B

There is just something about these sessions that I just absolutely love. The lighting isn’t always great, not everyone is looking their best, it’s cramped spaces but I just love how real and unfiltered they are. I love the emotions that are in the room. The tears that come from joy, exhaustion and an overwhelming love for this new little one. The whole thing is just such a beautiful experience and I am so grateful to be able to be there to witness it.

Kayla sent me a message to let me know her little one was born and wondered if I could come by just to grab a few quick shots. I was on my way there when her other little boy got crazy sick and started throwing up in the hospital…. Poor little guy was sick, crying and wanting his mommy. Can you imagine how hard this must have been for Kayla not to be able to hold him and take care of him?

Sigh…so many emotions that come with having a new baby. Justin and their oldest son headed home to rest and get better before Baby B was brought home. Kayla had really hoped they could be there for these first images but it’s also a sweet moment for her to have these just on her own with her new baby boy. I am so grateful I could come be there with you for a bit Kayla. You are rocking the mama thing. You love those boys to pieces.
