A few weeks ago I had the priviledge of being a guest at my friend Dan’s wedding in B.C. This happens so very rarely that it’s kind of a nice treat. I have a few very special friends who live out in B.C so I made sure to catch up with them on my quick little three day trip. There are some friends who make friendship a really easy thing. The ones who you can sit together with in the same room and not say a word but know exactly what the other one is thinking. The friends who will drive to the airport early in the morning because they just can’t wait to see you and no matter how busy their schedule is they make sure to sqeeze you in. Nothing quite like friends like that. April is that friend. I am so thankful for our little days to just grab a quick visit and catch up. No matter how long it has been we just pick right up where we left off. She picked me up in Vancouver then we spent the day together before the wedding. Here is a few shots of the wedding and my time with her.Congrats Dan and Lizzy!
April and I have always shared a love for photography! Here is a shot she took of me on the beach!
After the wedding I headed to my dear brother from another mother’s place. Matteu’s! We met at Bible School 9 years ago and instantly had a brother/sister connection! He is also ‘that’ friend. He just recently got engaged to a charming girl from B.C so I got to meet her and spend some time with the two of them. This is the second time I was able to crash at his house with all his roomies and make myself right at home. Love that we can chat and catch up and then run like crazy people through the grocery store and bring a smile to a few people’s faces. Thanks for taking a couple of days off of work to hang out with your sis. miss you bunches.
Here I am freaking out a bit…not a huge fan of heights.
So many great memories. Thanks for the hike and the bridge tour and best of all… the time to cruise around and sing at the top of our lungs! All the best to you and your soon to be bride!
