Colin and Kerry

Have you ever met someone and afterwards think to yourself…”wow, that is one of the kindest people I have ever met.”

I came home after this session and couldn’t stop talking about this incredible family. I first met Colin on my trip to the Dominican last year. He has his own renovation company here in the city and came to help with the building project. He was constantly giving and encouraging and truly connecting with the people there. It was beautiful to witness.

Now just over a year later I got to meet his amazing wife and kids for a family session. Kerry, I seriously think you are super mom! 4 kids and homeschooling the oldest plus helping run the family business. You are truly remarkable and not just because you can handle all of that…but because in the process of the craziness your kids respect you highly and love you to pieces. I can tell that you have a lot of great balance in your family.

Your kids are definitely fun to photograph. Everyone of them is so full of life and excitement… But one of my favourite moments was at the end when I got to take a few quick shots of just you and Colin. There is so much appreciation, love and kindness in your eyes. Absolutely beautiful.
