Today was our first day at God’s Littlest Angels orphanage in Haiti. After four hours of driving then three flights and then another two hours of driving we arrived safe and sound at our destination. We were warmly welcomed by Nikki and her wonderful family and then brought to the main house to begin our orientation and our first full day with the babies. Our day was full of meeting wonderful staff, adorable babies and fellow volunteers.
We were each given three babies to take care of for the week. Giving them special one on one attention and helping them develop certain skills is one of our main focus for the week.
